Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight shipping this week
Barnes & Noble warns of limited supply

We have all been expecting the new Nook to ship in May, but enough of that talk, Barnes & Noble let us know today that the (terribly named) Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight is shipping ahead of schedule!

The e-reader with light-up function starts shipping this week for those who have already pre-ordered a unit and will keep shipping all throughout the month.

Apparently, in-store units will be a bit on the limited side, but the company had announced that the device will be available in "limited quantities" when it hits stores early next month.
So the company suggests that if you don't want to make your mom cry this Mother's Day, that you should jump on the pre-order bandwagon sharp o’clockish.

Of course, it couldn't hurt to look around at some reviews and wait for some previews first, just to make sure.
